It was Winter International Lolita Day (what a mouthful) on Saturday and I went to a meet in Manchester hosted by http://sakura-moments.blogspot.com/. I can't remember actually being in Manchester before so it was strange and different but very good :) This was the outfit I wore for the meet:
I couldn't do a full outfit shot in my parents mirror so I split it.
This is a close up of my make up and hair
This is to get my shoes and tights in :3
When we got to Manchester we went to get some lunch at China Town, I was so excited when I found out Manchester had a China Town :D I have a collection of the walls in different China Towns across the UK, so I had to get a snap of that one.
With our hosts head in it :)
At China Town we went to the first buffet we saw because it was raining :( I was quite surprised to find that they had sushi there too! Proof!
We also got a little present which was a pack of Pocky, which I managed to eat before getting home :3 From there we went to the Christmas market they had going on, I love Christmas markets. But it was absolutely packed, you couldn't actually move and I couldn't get my camera out to snap some pictures. However there was an inside bit which was a very beautiful building, to show you an example of its beauty I took a picture of part of the inside of it.
After fighting our way through the market we went to find the ice rink but we had to buy tickets and wait for the next session. Meanwhile shoe shots! This shoe shot was not taken by me but I asked permission to use it :)
Hey guys, its been an okay week this week. I've focused more on fairy kei or alternative clothing or them both together, which I rather like :) but I do have some new lolita things:
A bodyline blouse I bought of the sales
At closer inspection I noticed it originally had detachable sleeves
The seller neglected to mention there was a hole in the lace.
New Bodyline shoes, so cute :3
New Bodyline dress, its really cute :) a little big though
Close up at the top, heart buttons and bow
Wasn't too sure about the flaps
The bottom, its straight out of the packaging so I needs an iron
The back of the dress
I got some accessories also :):
This is a two way clip, Alice in Wonderland Drink Me
Gorgeous Snow White necklace
Care Bear Ring and a Bat ring :)
On Saturday it was Winter International Lolita Day and I went to a lolita meet in Manchester, I can't remember ever being in Manchester so I was in amazement the majority of the time. I will make a post with some pictures, like I did with the Liverpool meet during the week. Maybe tomorrow depending on how busy I am.
I started my Hello Kitty advent calendar this week, despite some friends telling me I'm too old for one. I also got my boyfriend one but he was wanting to eat all the chocolates all at once so I'm keeping an eye on him with it :3 Here's a picture of our two advent calendars:
It took me ages to watch Merlin because I had to watch it on iplayer and it just really didn't want to play! It really wound me up, but then I managed to make it play. I must say Bradley's acting in the episode was just brilliant, especially at the end my heart really went out to Arthur. Was a beautiful episode, that showed that Arthur can and will be a good King. The trailer for the next episode had me like this D: and I now can't wait until next week. I hope Gwen and Arthur get back together, get married and have Arwen babies >_<.

Recently I've been focusing a lot of my lolita clothing, which is not a bad thing at all but I've been wanting to update my non-lolita clothing for a while as most of my lolita is more suitable for spring or autumn. Also where as in lolita I like to wear more sweet stuff, outside lolita I do wear other styles. So this week I've searched the internet for items of clothing I've liked and made a few coords out of them on good old paint. There is a lot of items that I haven't used so far and there are items that I've used a couple of times. These are the eight I've done so far, any help you can give; such as sites that you think I might like, opinions on particular coords and changes I might make would be very useful. Thanks :)
So I went to a lolita meet in Liverpool on Saturday which I did enjoy and I wanted to share some things about the meet. We weren't allowed to take picture of the exhibition so I there unfortunately aren't many. I had never met anyone who was going to the meet before and I was very nervous as I am rather shy.
I wore my Innocent Work Gertude JSK, with my off white Bodyline cardigan underneath which acted as a good blouse. On my feet I wore my An*Tai*Na tea parties, with thick off brand tights and over the top I had an off brand pink cardigan. I don't usually wear more accessories than a headbow, but this time I wore an offbrand pink headbow and a two way clip that I bought especially for the event. The Drink Me bottle: http://patisseriepink.livejournal.com/1363.html I didn't have anything Alice in Wonderland so I thought it was only right a I bought something for the event.
One of the girls there did a video of the day, which was a very nice idea :) See if you can spot me!
I still haven't recieved my Bodyline order but I noticed another girl had the same problem and she got hers fine in the end, so I'm not too worried.
My boyfriend has let me borrow his camera for the weekend, so I can take pictures which is very helpful!
So here are some pictures of the JSK's I got last week:
This is by The Snow Field, it's called Forest Story.

Also in my world of lolita I went to a meet in Liverpool, where we went to the Alice in Wonderland exhibition at Liverpool Tate. That was really good, wished I could have stayed to go to the Christmas market but its a three hour train ride. I'm hopefully going to make a post about the meet with some pictures and a video. I'm quite busy with meets at the moment, there was this meet on Saturday and a Manchester meet on Saturday and next Wednesday I have my own meet in Leeds.
Now off the topic of lolita, MERLIN. I watched the episode on iplayer after coming back from Liverpool on Saturday. My friend had already text me about the episode and I had to refrain from reading it which was very difficult. I'm a Arwen shipper so the episode was really sad for me, damn that Morgana! I hope this mistake gets corrected soon and Gwen and Arthur get married. I loved the outfits Gwen wore in this episode, I think they really complimented Angel's lovely figure. What upset me slightly is that fact Gwen's brother didn't stick up for her at all in this episode. The entire episode I was like please fix it Merlin!
My boyfriend started work this week and I'm happy I still get to see him as much just at different times than normal :) It also means that I can get more done during the day, which is an added bonus.
I've now completed the first series of Robert Muchamore's CHERUB books, I do love the books and the stories I feel that there is a lot young people can learn from them. However towards the end of the series there is a lot more swearing and quite a ridiculous amount of references to sex. I know that people grow up but come on seriously. However I am looking forward to reading the second series and The Henderson Boy's which I have reserved.
